July Fun for Girls Girls, entering grades K-4 in the fall, are invited to sample fun activities provided by the Girl Scouts. The four-week program in Newark will feature sports, cooking and lots more, Thursdays in July. Girls can choose the location nearest them: Frey Street Park, 9-10:30 a.m.; or Perkins Park, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fee for entire four-week program is $10. Financial aide is available. Girls will become registered members of the Girl Scouts. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
