Summer events at at Lyons Library The Lyons Public Library will host a showing of the movie National Treasure on Tuesday, July 11 at 6 p.m. as part of its adult summer reading program. This program is for adults only. Since the film has to start early during the dinner hour, pizza and soda will be served. This program is free and open to all adults. Fun Programs for Children at the Lyons Public Library As part of its Books A Treasure summer reading program, the Lyons Public Library is hosting two special programs for children On Wed., July 12 at 1 p.m., AirBrush Tattoos for Kids with Judy Cassler will take place. This is a repeat of last year's popular program. Children attending the program will get an airbrush tattoo and a pirate eye patch and bandana to go along with the tattoo. On Thurs., July 13 at 1 p.m. Sunbeam the Clown will appear to demonstrate balloon art and clown around with the kids. The whole family is invited to this fun and entertaining program.
