Book Club meets July 17 in Newark

For the second time, the Beyond the Covers book club will teleconference with a live author.

July 17 at 6:30 p.m., Lois Winston, author of the hilarious book 'Talk Gertie to Me,' will chat with book club members and guests.

This event will take place in the board room of the Newark Public Library.

Winston will discuss how she came to assemble her group of characters for the book, and what it takes to get published. The event is open to the public.
