Programs at the Lyons Public Library

The Lyons Public Library continues summer programs for children and adults.

Book Buddies, a children's book discussion group, meets on Tuesdays at 1 p.m., followed by Teens To Tots Reading at 1:30 p.m. where older children and adults read to younger children.

Wednesdays are craft days at 1 p.m. The Teakettle Music Company featuring singer Cathy McGrath will perform Thursday, July 20 at 1 p.m.

July 27 at 1 p.m. David Moreland, the Magician, will demonstrate his magical skills. A special travelogue of interest to adults will take place on July 25 at 7 p.m. The travelogue, 'Discover the Treasures of Italy,' will feature three residents of Lyons who have traveled to this fascinating country in recent years. Each will speak about their unique experiences. People may ask questions afterwards.

All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
