RSVP volunteers need yarn Over the past two decades, volunteers of RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) have been graciously and generously knitting and crocheting hats, scarves, mittens, lap robes, and slippers to be donated to those in need throughout the counties of Wayne, Ontario, and Seneca. This year, baby blankets are a much needed item at hospitals for newborns. The volunteers need more yarn (especially baby yarn), so that they can continue making donated items. If you or someone you know has a surplus of yarn that you would like to donate to the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, contact Debbie at 315.946.7530. The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is sponsored by Wayne County Action Program, Inc. and funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the N.Y.S. Office for the Aging.
