John and Eileen Ballesty welcomed Eileen's sister Kaye (from Dublin, Ireland) for a month's visit. The sisters traveled to Las Vegas, where they met with another sister, Bridy from New Zealand.

Lori Sun VanOyen spent time and enjoyed dinner with Grandma Erma Clark on Sunday.

July 27, 1880 - Porch parties are quite the thing now. The size of the party depends on the size of the porch.

Why do we sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' when we're already there?

Special Music at the Second Reformed Church on July 23 was presented by Sherry Reiss who sang, 'Come to Jesus.'

Members of the Class of 1944 from Marion High School met at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Macedon for their reunion. The couple traveling the farthest was Dick and Gloria Witter from Aiken, SC. Others were Irene Klaeyson and Bill and Elsie Warner from Palmyra, Elizabeth DeWitt from East Palmyra, Jean Beman from Lyons, and Vivian Mason, Erma Clark, and Lloyd and Arlene VanHaneghem of Marion. Following the luncheon, they paid a visit to the Marion Museum where they spent time reminiscing about the 'good old days.'
