Pool and spa safety event in Newark

To help kick off summer pool season and keep kids safe in and around water, the Safe Kids Finger Lakes Chapter is teaming up with Carl's Pools and Spas on Rt. 31 West in Newark on Saturday, June 10 from 11 to 2.

A free pool and spa safety event will highlight the importance of pool and spa safety and keeping kids safe. Educational information will focus on the many ways parents can prevent their children from being injured in pools and hot tubs, including active supervision, entrapment prevention, and safer pool environments.

There will be plenty of FREE giveaways including coloring books, crayons, balloons and Water Watcher Kits! Drawings will also be held and Carl's Pools and Spas will be cooking up free hot dogs and soda!
