Book Club meets at Newark Library

Beyond the Covers Book Club meets June 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the board room of the Newark Public Library to discuss the thought-provoking work of Elie Wiesel entitled Night.

Born in the town of Sighet in Transylvania, he was still a teenager when he was taken from his home to the Auschwitz concentration camp and then to Buchenwald. His unforgettable memories of those experiences are recorded in Night - a book that impels us to remember the atrocities that took place and to ensure that such horrors never happen again.
