What would it be like to leave everything familiar and move to another country across the ocean?

School-aged children are invited to attend the next Community Reader program at the Sodus Free Library to hear Antje Dirksen-Post's memories of leaving Germany as a child and coming to America.

You will be treated to a reading of her published short story, Soup with Dumplings, and hear about the importance of recording memories. Registration is not required for this free program, which will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 25. Stop by 17 Maple Avenue or call 483.9292 for more information.
