ViaHealth golf tournament nets $10,021

ViaHealth of Wayne Foundation held its 15th Annual Golf Tournament on June 12 at Wayne Hills Country Club in Lyons. The tournament grossed $15,600 with a net profit of $10,021.

The tournament included a four-person scramble format and attracted 78 golfers.

The first-place winners were John Murphy, Joe Holgado, Dave Howard, and Todd Nittolo. Second place: Bruce Hunt, Greg Bryant, Michael Keyes and Dave Mancari. Third place: Frank Zappia, Jim Zappia, Ernie Evangelist and Jim Tiberio.

Ladies winners were Bonnie Evangelist, Cheryl DeMeyers, Nancy Collins and Julieta Mejia.

Mixed foursome winners were Bob Havrilla, Pat Havrilla, Charlie Hallagan and Kay Hallagan. Second place mixed: Dennis Lewis, Nancy Lewis, Marsha Herbst and Donna Washington. Third place: Barb Neumann, John Neumann, Dr. Michael Jordan and Paul Heid.

Longest Drive winners were Bonnie Evangelist and Phil Cormier.

Concord Ford Lincoln Mercury of Newark sponsored a Hole-in-One contest for a red 2006 Ford Fusion, which remained unclaimed. Concord Ford Lincoln Mercury has sponsored golf tournaments for 14 years.

The Silver Sponsors were: The Cabot Group, Rochester; and Lyons National Bank, Lyons. Hallagan Manufacturing Company, Newark, was the Bronze Sponsor. De Staffan and Saracino, PC gave a special donation.
