At one time, this clock hung in the Study Hall in the Marion Collegiate Institute. It is an eight-day pendulum clock with a calendar hand. It is presently in the 'country school' room at the Marion Museum.

I just finished stapling copies of #35 & #36 scrapbooks for our museum files. These are available for borrowing if you're interested.

Garbage Pail Turkey

10 lb. turkey

10 lb.+ briquettes

10-gallon galvanized garbage pail

When briquettes are white-hot, brush them aside. Put down foil on ground and place pole in the center of the foil. Place salted, seasoned turkey on pole (neck up). Place garbage pail over turkey. Push hot coals around bottom of the garbage pail - and on the top. Uncover after 90 minutes and enjoy! (You may borrow my garbage pail.)
