Bottles and jars of Wayne County

The next program in the 2006 Winter Lecture Series will be The Bottles & Jars of Wayne County: 1850 - 1950, by Chris Davis, on Saturday, March 11, at 2 p.m., at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Museum, 120 High St., Newark. Admission is free.

Davis is the Executive Director of the N-AHS, and President of the Genesee Valley Bottle Collectors Association, in Rochester.

The slide-illustrated program will include examples of bottles from most Wayne County villages, with an emphasis on Newark and Lyons.

Those attending are invited to bring examples for identification or verbal appraisals. (Questions - 331.6409)
