Ducks Unlimited Dinner/Auction is April 8

The 23rd annual Dinner/Auction of the Eastern Wayne Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will begin at 6 p.m. on April 8 at Donselaar's Party House on Rt. 31 in Clyde.

The event is one of the area's primary fund raisers for the work of the International Ducks Unlimited organization, which during its more than 60 year history has generated millions of dollars to benefit wildlife.

As in the past, sports people, outdoor lovers, and connoisseurs of fine art will gather for the evening which will begin with hors d'oeuvres and a social hour, followed by a prime rib dinner and end with an auction/raffle featuring such things as the framed, ready-to-hang works of famous outdoors artists such as Bateman, Redlin and Barnhouse, valuable hunting firearms, and outdoor related items.
