'Grease' takes stage in Marion tomorrow Marion's production of Grease will be March 10 at 8 p.m., and March 11 at 2 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $8. Grease is based on the life of high school seniors at Rydell High in the 1950s. It is an era of poodle skirts, saddle shoes, sock hops and greased back hair. The Pink Ladies and the T-Birds will entertain you with Summer Nights, We Go Together, Magic Changes, and of course Born To Hand Jive. Danny Zuko, played by senior Brian Halliley, and Sandy, played by senior Christina Driessen, will dance their way across the stage in the closing number, All Choked Up. Rounding out the group of Rydell High friends are the Pink Ladies: Rizzo, Meredith Morse; Marty, Cora Walker; Jan, Liz Snyder; Frenchy, Ashley Rieflin; and the T-Birds: Kenickie, Mike Voigt; Doody, Jayson Keyes; Roger, Adam Boerman; Sonny, Peter Castro. Also in the cast: Cha Cha, Cara Thomas; Eugene, Sam Estochen; Patty, Rachael Rose; Vince Fontaine, Ken Pfromm; Miss Lynch, Kasey Bliek; and Johnny Casino, Joe Mabon.
