Tour the Ohmann Theatre Monday

The Lyons Heritage Society will meet March 20 at 7 p.m. at the Ohmann Theatre in Lyons.

Members will tour the recently renovated theatre. The Theatre, built in 1915 by Burt Ohmann, has been a home to live theatre, vaudeville, musical entertainment, and movies. Management included Burt's sons Robert and Myron. Robert Ohmann managed the business until 1980.

The theatre was restored to its original splendor in 2005 by Burt's grandson, F. Robert 'Bob' Ohmann. Since it's reopening, the theatre has shown first run movies and featured a number of live productions. There will be a brief business meeting and refreshments will be served.
