Lyons Library budget passes

The Lyons Public Library's annual budget vote was held Tues., May 2 and passed by 60-38.

Voters approved a tax levy of $244,610 for the 2006-2007 library budget. This represents a 4.8% increase over last year. The library's fiscal year runs from July 1 - June 30. Total expenditures for 2006-2007 are $299,110. Call 946.9262 for more information.
