Pomona Grange awards banquet

The Wayne County Pomona Grange awards banquet was held recently at the Normandy Inn in Sodus. 39 Grangers and friends had a dinner followed by a brief ceremony for Lecturer's Awards and various other grange awards.

Presenters were Carol Bailey, Pat VanLare and Sharon Rice. New York State Grange Steward Roger Knowles and New York State Grange Lady Assistant Steward Amy Knowles shared their experience of attending the New York State Grange Leadership Institute.

Lady Knowles encouraged folks to leave their comfort zones to accomplish something they've never attempted, something she was inspired to do at the leadership training sessions.

Pomona Grange Master Allan Mallette presented Bill Bross of Mercy Flight with a check for $1000. The money was raised at the food booth during the Wayne County Fair.
