At the Williamson Library

May is traditionally a busy month for the Friends of the Williamson Free Public Library.

On Wednesday, May 19, at the noontime Sandwiched In program, Williamsons Town Historian Chester Peters, will share a topic from his years of documenting local history. The program is open to the public, takes place in the library's community room and an optional lunch is available by calling the library to reserve one. It's a great opportunity to learn something new about the community while enjoying lunch with a nice group of people.

If you enjoy good conversation, good company and a good cause, joining the Friends might be just the thing. Membership opportunities are flexible and Friends of the Library can participate at any level that they choose. If time is an issue, you can join the group and lend your support simply by paying your dues. Membership forms are available at the library and will be gratefully received.
