Bike Expo at Newark Library

The Newark Public Library will be the place to be on Wednesday, May 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. Ride, drive, or walk for Bike Expo 2006. Come and see a variety of bicycles and bike gear on display, and get some expert advice on road or trail riding from two experienced riders from Geneva Bicycle Center.

Some of the planned events include helmet fittings, and make sure to be there at 6 for the Tire Changing Clinic. Don't ever be stranded by a flat tire while you're riding; learn how easy it is to change a tube and fix a flat.

Bike Expo 2006 is all about riding for adults, kids, casual riders, weekend warriors, road or trail, any and all cyclists - or those who want to ride but don't currently. The library will be providing free trail and bike route maps, information about riding in New York, refreshments, recommended reading materials lists, and more.
