Lyons Band concert changes

The Autumn Band Concert that was originally scheduled for tonight (Thursday, November 2), has been rescheduled to Monday, November 6 due to a conflict with the Lyons Girls Varsity Volleyball team playing in the Sectionals at Victor on Thursday. Featured in the concert will be the Jazz Band playing such well-known pieces as 'California Girls'. The 7th and 8th Grade Bands will play 'Columbia Crest March', and the Senior High Concert Band playing Leroy Anderson's 'Rakes of Mallow.'

The Bands are also in the middle of their annual Citrus Fruit and Pizza Sale. If you would like to order fresh Florida fruit that will be delivered the week before Christmas, or fresh pizzas that will be made and delivered the day before the Super Bowl, please contact any Lyons Middle or High School Band member, or call the Music Department Office at 946.2200, Ext. 2225 by Monday, November 6.
