Meet author Huling Hummel at Lyons Library

Cynthia Huling HummelSaturday, November 18 at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel will discuss how she came to write her book, The Lice Lady: Holy and Hilarious Moments in Ministry.

She will greet friends at Lyons Public Library and answer questions and sign copies of her book for those attending. A few copies of the book will be available for sale.

Pastor Cynthia has a B.S. degree from Rutgers College, an M.Div. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary and in 2003 received her D.Min. in Preaching from McCormick Seminary.

She has been the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons for 10 years and is also the Chaplain for the Lyons Fire Department.

The book can also be purchased at Dobbins Drugs in Lyons, Book Nook in Geneva.
