Country Christmas Show at The Ohmann

The Ohmann Theatre in Lyons will host the 'OneSong Country Christmas Show' on December 1, at 2 p.m.

Created and performed by recording artists Ron & Nancy OneSong, the production weaves a nostalgic musical journey with such timeless favorites as Jingle Bell Rock, Silver Bells, and Blue Christmas. The young-at-heart will especially enjoy the stories of 'Tag Along,' 'Christmas Candy' and 'Willie Claus.'

They specialize in traditional American music, including country, bluegrass, western and gospel. They have appeared nationally and internationally at festivals, special events and on live radio broadcasts, and they host regular music shows and barn dances at their home venue, the Medina Stone Farm.

Ron & Nancy have recorded five all-acoustic albums, and were inducted in 2003 into the New York Statewide Country Music Association Hall of Honors.

The Ohmann Theatre was built in 1915 by Burt Ohmann of Lyons, and has been home to theatrical presentations, vaudeville, musical entertainment, as well as the ever-present movie screen. Operated by the Ohmann family through the l980's, the theatre was brought back to the family by eldest son Robert in 2005 and has undergone a total renovation under his management.

General admission is $13, and tickets can be purchased at the Ohmann Theatre Box Office; the Old Lyons Hardware Store; or by contacting the Medina Stone Farm at 585.798.9238.
