Child seat check in Sodus Center On October 14 from 1-3 p.m., the Sheriff's Office and Public Health will be having a Child Safety Seat Check in conjunction with the Sodus Center Fire Department, 5521 Main St. Sodus Center. Please bring your child and car seat to the event. Through these events, the Sheriffs Office has found that approximately 90 percent of the children and their car seats were not correctly secured.
