Newark Club honors Doug Kent

Last Friday, Newark Garden Club gave its Beautification Award to Doug Kent, owner of the Rose Bowl Lanes, before the program. Allie Doyle is shown with Doug Kent.

The special program for the afternoon was given by Marjorie Torelli, Public Relations Coordinator for Western Finger Lakes Solid Waste Management. She spoke about composting, its benefits, and how easy it is to do. (See separate story in News Index.)

The Garden Club meets monthly at the Park Presbyterian Church.
