Author at Williamson Library

Friends of the Williamson Free Public Library will offer an opportunity to Meet the Author on October 18 at noon in the library's community room.

Brooks Tenney will share his experiences writing and publishing his new thriller, Killing Mauritius (Trafford, 2006). Tenney, a columnist for the Sun & Record who has an extensive background in science and adventure, has written a fast-paced story of modern-day terrorism and the desperate attempts of the civilized world to defeat it.

For the Friends Program Sandwiched In, he will discuss the process he used to write this dramatic and alarming story, how it was published and give some tips to those who are also interested in writing.

The noon program is free and open to all. An optional lunch may be reserved by calling 589.2048 by 8 p.m. TODAY (October 16).
