Rabbit & cavy show this weekend

The Wayne County Rabbit Decathlon Team will be holding a Rabbit and Cavy Show at the Cornell Cooperative Extension (1581 Rt. 88 North in Newark) this Saturday.

All youths are invited to show their Rabbits and Cavy, pre-registration is encouraged but registration at the door is welcome. Please note all Rabbits must have a permanent ear tattoo.

Awards will be given for Best in Show, Reserve in Show, and Best in Breed. Best Opposite sex, all categories will be judged by the Danish System. Other contests being held on the 4th are Knowledge, Showmanship, Breed ID, Costume, and for those who animals of mixed breed or have DQs a Pet class will be offered. There will also be a Silent Auction and food concession sales.
