World Communion at Lyons Presbyterian

October 1 is World Communion Sunday at The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons. The sacrament of The Lord's Supper will be celebrated. The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel will preach. Her meditation is titled: 'A Cup of Water.' As a reminder that this special worship service is being being observed around the world, worshipers are invited to wear or bring something from another country.

The choir under the direction of Mrs. Camille Clark and accompanied by Mrs. Janet Buell, is preparing special music. The 10 a.m. service will be followed by a time of fellowship in the Social Hall. Everyone is welcome.
