Wolcott Harvest Festival next week

Saturday, September 30, Wolcott Lions Club will host its Sportsmen's & Apple Harvest Festival in the Village Park from 9 to 5.

The Faith Methodist Church will serve a Harvest Supper on Sept. 29.

Saturday the Lions Club will feature a chicken BBQ.

This year the Montezuma Audubon Center with Marc Edwards will be bringing a display; Steve Mitchell from the Wayne County Sheriff's Dept. will promote snowmobile safety; Tom Mettler will show his mounted wildlife; a representative from the DEC will be available to talk to and show a display;

Cracker Box Palace will have a petting zoo; Chris Kenyon will be there representing the National Wildlife Turkey Federation; Kristin Steffen from Second Chance Rehabilitation Network will share some live wildlife; collectibles and sportsmen items for sale;

home made apple pies for sale; Baptist Church Youth group will sell fried dough; Otis Vezzose will have produce; Wolcott Historical Society and Butler Preservation Society will set up displays. Demonstrations will include Kuk Sol Won and for your listening enjoyment the Wolcott Community Band will play.
