Brooks Tenney to speak at library

Author Brooks Tenney of Williamson will review his book 'The Killing of Mauritius' at the Monday, April 9 Library Luncheon at the Palmyra Library.

The intriguing tale of an Islamic jihad plot against the peaceful island of Mauritius involves Osama bin Laden, a scientist from NASA, a microbiologist from the Center for Disease Control in a well written plot. Reviewers found the book difficult to put down once started.

Tenney, a former aerospace engineer and employee of Xerox, writes a regular column in the Sun-Record newspaper in Williamson and is a free lance writer for magazines.

To enjoy the review by a local author and the noon luncheon beforehand, make reservations by calling the Library at 597.5276 before 1 p.m., Saturday, April 7.
