By the time the weather gets done we don't know whether to put the winter coats away or keep them next to the door. The robins and spring birds must be confused. I know I am.

Easter is coming with the coloring of Easter eggs, Easter baskets filled with goodies and of course Easter dinner. Everyone will be fixing ham or lamb. From Ralph Everdyke in Florida:

On Tuesday (March 24) I played the in the last day of my golf league. It is called the Tuesday Scramblers. On Thursday Night (March 24) we had our annual banquet. It was held at a place called Island Way Grill. When you look at the name you might think it is a hamburger joint, but it is a very nice restaurant almost on Clearwater Beach. It has three dining rooms and also an outside eating area overlooking the bay. In our group there were about 75 people and I would say there must have been at least 200 people in the dining rooms and when we got ready to leave there were people waiting to get in. My team consisted of myself, another man and two ladies. We managed to finish in second place so we all received a nice trophy. They also gave away many door prizes and I was lucky enough to win dinner passes to Applebee's Restaurant. A great time was had by all. The weather down here has been sunny and in the 80s. It is very dry though and we could use some rain.

Sodus Free Library:

The Library will be closed Friday through Sunday, April 6, 7, and 8, for Easter weekend, and will reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 9.

Computer Class Finale - An update issue with the laptops meant a change in the last computer class, moving us to the Middle School's computer lab. Here, Bob Antonucci is sharing his library's Grolier Online database with our students.

Thanks to all who helped make this School/Library collaboration such a success: Susan Salvaggio, Bob Antonucci, Jeff Lisanto, Char DeFisher, and Rob Wahl with the Interact Club. And a special 'thank you' to all of the enthusiastic people who attended the three sessions - you were a great group!

There are some Easter Egg hunts this weekend. Kids and adults just love them. Hopefully, it'll be nice out and not wet and snowy.

There are not a lot of fun things to do yet, but once the warm weather really comes and stays, you won't know which thing to do first. The summer will be filled with all kinds of things to do. This weekend is a fun weekend whether you spend it with family and friends or just stay at home.

Some fun things you might want to do is of course color the hard boiled eggs. There are a lot of fun ideas you can come up with when you have some construction paper, scissors, tape and glue. Pass out white oval shaped pieces of paper and the kids can decorate the eggs and hang them up to help decorate the house for the Holiday.

Have a great Easter and if you have some fun ideas you did for the holiday, please write in and we can share them. Enjoy each other's company and the weekend. Spring is coming...eventually. Keep your kids busy during their week off.

HAPPY EASTER!
