Wine tasting to help shelter

Wondering what to do on a Sunday afternoon? Come be spellbound with Iroquois storyteller Perry Ground, a Turtle Clan member of the Onondaga Nation. Everyone will be captivated by his energetic traditional Iroquois legends and stories of animal tales. The Humane Society will be hosting a wine tasting before the story telling begins. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

Tickets are available from Board members, the Shelter, and at the door. All proceeds from this event benefit the Humane Society of Wayne County

The date is April 22, 2-5 p.m. at Newark Elks Lodge, 223 South Main Street. Tickets: $10 (adults), $6 (students and seniors)

Contact the shelter at 946.3389 or log on www.hswaynepets.org
