Wouldn't 'unthawed' be frozen?

Dear Dan: Thursday morning we awoke to a fresh covering of clean, white snow on our town.

The baskets included toiletries, pens, stationery, crossword books and candy.

April 11, 1914: Tuesday evening a meeting was held for the purpose of organizing a fire department. Over 30 signed and agreed to be present at each alarm or pay a fine of $2. John Clark was appointed chairman with full power to appoint a committee to transact other business. Marion has suffered several severe fires in the past few years and has been without any protection whatever. They have now a good water service on every street and are anxious to have a good fire department.

'Middle Age' ... when it takes longer to rest than to get tired.
