Lyons Library budget meeting, vote

The Lyons Public Library Board of Trustees will present the library's proposed 2007-08 budget on Monday, April 30 at 7 p.m.

Absentee ballots must be picked up by April 30 at the library and be returned to the library by noon on Tuesday, May 1. For more information, 946.9262.

This meeting is open to the public. The annual budget vote and election of trustees will be held on Tuesday, May 1 from noon to 8 at the library, 67 Canal Street. In order to be eligible to vote you must be at least 18 years old, have been a resident of the Lyons School District for 30 days prior to the vote, and be a United States citizen.

A copy of the budget may be picked up at the library. Absentee ballots are available for people who are physically unable to come to the library to vote or who will be out of town the day of the vote.
