VBS in Newark

Together in Christ, an ecumenical group of Newark churches, is sponsoring its annual, community-wide Vacation Bible School, August 13-17, from 9 to noon, at Park Presbyterian Church (east of Central Park).

This year's western-inspired theme, Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride through God's Word, will feature Bible lessons, music, crafts, games, and snacks. A stampede of over 120 children, ages pre-K through 5th grade, are expected to attend this fun-filled, Bible-based camp.

Older youth are encouraged to register as crew leaders. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged!

Please pre-register at: Emmanuel United Methodist, First United Methodist, Park Presbyterian, St. Mark's Episcopal, St. Michael's, or Woodlane Community. Donations to the Newark Food Closet, such as boxed cereal, canned meat, and canned pasta in meat sauce, are greatly appreciated and will be collected daily.
