Fairville carnival starts Thursday

In celebration of the Fairville Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary 50th aniversary, Fairville Fire Department will be hosting a carnival Thursday, August 9 through Saturday, August 11. The fun begins at 4 p.m. with a take-out roast beef dinner, and the midway opening at 6 p.m. with all rides, hot dogs, and pizza $1 until 9 p.m.

Friday night, the midway opens at 6 p.m. The clam stand and the Ladies' Auxiliary cake booth also open for the weekend on Friday evening.

The Firemen's parade starts at 7 p.m. sharp.

Saturday's events include the midway opening at 1 p.m. with pay one price of $10 until 5 p.m. and fireworks at 10:30 p.m.
