Museum keeps summer hours The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's summer hours continue through September. The museum is open Wednesday evenings, 7 to 9 and Saturdays, 1 to 3. They will open for you by special request. The new exhibit, 'Gimme That 'Ol Tyme Religion: Early Newark Churches' and 'The Hydesville Spiritualism Movement,' along with displays on the 50-year-old Newark Plaza and WACK Radio, will be up through April 1. The next quarterly meeting is Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The Historic Cemetery Walk takes place October 19-20, at East Newark Cemetery, on Vienna Street. First tours are Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Look for more info in the Courier-Gazette next month. Copyright
