ExxonMobil employee gifts
surpass $94,000

ExxonMobil gave a real boost to United Way of Wayne County's campaign this week, announcing employee gifts totaling more than $94,000.

ExxonMobil's employees participated in a number of special events during the campaign, all to raise money and awareness for United Way.

A hot dog roast, baked food sale, jeans Friday and an employee auction spurred employees to donate even more than last year. Thirty-seven employees from ExxonMobil decided to make an even greater commitment by becoming leadership givers.

'This is just one way that our employees are expressing that they truly care about our local community,' said Bob Dobies, Vice President of the ExxonMobil Film's Business in Macedon. 'The employee contribution this year is about $10,000 greater than last years campaign, and we couldn't be more proud of what our employees have done to support our community through United Way.'

Carol Pettis, Director of United Way of Wayne County, expressed deep appreciation to ExxonMobil.

The 2008 United Way of Wayne County/Red Cross Campaign will begin on March 19.
