Parochial students busy during Advent

St. Michael School (Newark) welcomes the Advent Season with a wide assortment of community activities. Some classes are visiting the local nursing homes.

The middle school children are collecting items for the House of John in Clifton Springs, the younger grades are collecting items for Operation Sandbox to send to soldiers in Iraq, the kindergartners are collecting money for a St. Michael's Church 'giving tree' family, and the pre-kindergarten children are collecting for the Baby Closet at St. Mark's Church.

For more information about these community activities or if you'd like to help; visit http://schools.dor.org/stmichaelnew/ or call 331.1957.
