Happenings Let me know how you and your family spent the holiday. I will put the news in next week's column. If you'd like to send Christmas cards to recovering soldiers: You can send them to: A Recovering American Soldier, c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20307-5001. Buy yourself one really great present and open it up in front of the family, exclaiming, 'I love it! But there was no card! Who gave this to me?' Then wait and see if anyone is over confident enough to claim credit. Congratulations to basketball player Jeff LeFevre, 6 ft. 3 senior center, who had 19 points and six rebounds in the recent victory over North Rose Wolcott. LeFevre is one of the Birds Eye Players of the Week. A ziti dinner will be held at the High School cafeteria on Monday, Jan. 4 from 4:30 to 7 to benefit Nick Newman, son of Holly Deyo and grandson of Arnie and Monica Deyo.
