Our Gang comedies at Lyons Library

The next film to be shown in the Lyons Public Library's 'Child Stars of the Silver Screen' movie series features Spanky, Alfalfa, Stymie, Buckwheat and others of Our Gang fame ... The Little Rascals.

The movie will be shown on Sat., Feb. 3 at 2 p.m.

Hal Roach, the creator of Our Gang, felt that the audience would rather see children act as children and not as little adults. Every generation since the films were first shown have come to love the mischievous tykes.

This program is free and open to the public. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be served. For more information, call 946.9262.
