Spiritualism at Newark-Arcadia Museum

The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's Winter Lecture Series continues on Saturday, February 3, at 2 p.m., at the museum on High St.

A documentary entitled 'Spiritualism: The Fox Sisters' will be shown (48 min.) The documentary was filmed in late 2005 by Reel Time Images, of Toronto, for a Canadian television series called Enigma, on VisionTV. The series premiered Jan. 10, with the Spiritualism documentary shown on Jan. 31.

Several N-AHS members were filmed: Rita Weiler, Karen Vanderbrook and Pat Gorthy, who reprised their roles as the Fox Sisters in the Oct. 2005 Historic Cemetery Walk. The DVD will be shown using a video projector.
