February reading at Newark Library

'There's snow better time to read' Winter Reading Program is at the Newark Public Library

The Newark Public Library is turning into a reading wonderland by offering a Winter Reading program during the month of February. Children, in grades K-5, are invited to snuggle up with a good book this winter. The objective of the Winter Reading Program is to increase the motivation and enthusiasm of Newarks children to read more during the long winter months. Participating children will receive prizes for reading as well as checking out materials from the library. Eligible children may register for the reading program by stopping into the library or through the library's website.

The Winter Reading Program is a fun and free program generously sponsored by Nine Pine Country Store located at 7555 Jackson Hill Road in rural Newark (east of Marbletown firehall).

For more information about the Winter Reading Program, please contact Chris at the library 331. 4370.
