Book review at Newark Library

Retired Assistant Director of the Pioneer Library System, Nancy Rubery will be guest reviewer this Friday (February 9) at the Newark Public Library. Reservations are $4 and are needed by today (Wednesday, Feb. 7) by calling 331.4370.

The book review luncheon hosted by the Friends of the Library will be held at noon.

Charles Frazier's book, Thirteen Moons will be her subject. This is a work of historical fiction written by the author of Cold Mountain. It is set in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, mostly before the Civil War.
