Sodus Chamber seeks Citizen of the Year

Sodus Chamber of Commerce is seeking suggestions for the 2007 Citizen of the Year. Anyone within the Sodus Township may submit a recommendation and only one submission is needed. The candidate may be from a group, business, church, school, social, or civic organization, or a private individual, but must live in the Township of Sodus.

Suggestions must be submitted in writing, signed, and a phone number included so we may contact you with any questions. They should be mailed to the Sodus Chamber, P.O. Box 187, Sodus 14551 and must be received by March 1.

The Board of Directors will review all received and announce the winner in March. A banquet to honor the Sodus Chamber's Citizen of the Year, along with the Sodus Rotary AgriBusiness Award, will be held on April 20 at the Sodus Bay Heights Restaurant and the public is invited to attend.

The Chamber will conduct a Scholarship raffle with all proceeds to benefit graduating Sodus students. Raffle tickets will be available from any Chamber member and items will be on display at Curves on Maple Ave.

Dinner tickets are advanced sale for $23 per person and are available at Fox Law Office, Main St. (483.6733), Sodus Curves, Maple Ave., (483.1222) or by contacting the Chamber at 315.398.8473.
