Lecture is on 1950s automobiles John Zornow will present 'A Walk Down Automobile Row, In the Eyes of a Twelve-Year-Old, 1955' this Saturday (February 17), at 2 p.m. at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St., Newark. This is part of the N-AHS' Winter Lecture Series. Zornow, a life-long Newark and Sodus Point resident, retired from Eastman Kodak in 1991. He was President of the Sodus Bay Historical Society from 2000 to 2003. He currently serves as President of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, and Newark Public Library Board of Trustees, as well as secretary of Save Our Sodus, Inc. As a staff writer for the Newark Courier-Gazette, he compiles weekly history column, 'Arcadia - A Century', chronicling the last 100 years of the community. John's story about Newark's 100-year-old Mora Automobile Company, was featured in the December 28, 2006 issue of Old Cars Weekly, a tabloid style weekly publication out of Iola, Wisconsin, with a worldwide circulation of over 100,000.
