County organizes; sets salaries Jim Hoffman was unanimously re-elected Tuesday to serve as Chairman of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors. Hoffman, the Williamson Town Supervisor, will serve his second consecutive year at the helm. His re-election and other appointments will not change the face of the Board as it convenes for the new year. Sandy Sloane will serve as Clerk of the Board; Deputy Clerk is Debbie Liseno; Interim County Administrator Keith Kubasik was named Budget Officer; and Savannah Supervisor Don Colvin will act as his Deputy. Arcadia Supervisor Joe DeSanto was named Minority Leader by the Democrats, and Dave Lyon of Palmyra will act as Majority Leader. Standing Committees will remain the same as last year, and Bob Havrilla's name was added too the list of those who will serve the Wayne County Industrial Development Agency. The Board adopted 2007 salary schedules for county officers and department heads, managerial employees and managerial support staff who are not subject to collective bargaining agreements. (Watch for those to be posted here soon.) The Board must hold a public hearing to change the following salaries, which are subject to permissive referendum:
