Stay-at-home MOMS will meet

You've seen the MOMS Club of Newark/Palmyra in the Rose Parade and Palmyra's Canaltown Parade. They are a local chapter of the International MOMS Club.

Moms Offering Moms Support is an organization for stay-at-home mothers. When the days seem longer or the clouds grayer, they have play groups, activity groups, field trips and MOMS Nights Out.

Once a month, they visit the residents at the DeMay Living Center. You can get more information at the international website

www.momsclub.org/

or you can get local information by calling Jodi Harmon at 331.7059 or e-mailing

newpalmoms@yahoo.com

They started January 2006 with five members and now have 18 members. If you are an at-home mother looking for support or with support to give, please join the MOMS at Newark's Alex Eligh Community Center on Monday, January 8 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the group's first birthday.
