Book Review luncheon in Newark

The Friends of the Newark Public Library will host a noon luncheon book review at the Newark Library on January 12.

'A Walk in the Woods' by Bill Bryson will be reviewed by the Rev. Tim Johnson.

This humorous best seller memoir of Bryson's walking the 2100 mile Appalachian Trail is full of dry humor, yet serious about environmental concerns. It is a great adventure with many laughs along the path.

Reservations are $4 and should be made by calling 331.4370 by Wednesday, January 10.
