Interfaith service at Lyons church

There will be an Interfaith Service of Prayer and Song at the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons on Thursday, January 25 at noon. The service is being coordinated through the Inter-Church Council of Lyons. Pastors and laity from churches in Lyons will participate. The service marks the conclusion of the 'Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.'

The hosting pastor is The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel, pastor of the church and president of the council. The ecumenical group, 'The Sabbath Singers' will share their music and Mrs. Janet Buell will be the organist. The offering will go to the upcoming 'Group Work Camp' for youth. Everyone is welcome to attend this noon time service. A time of fellowship will follow in the Social Hall.
