Two-Story Outhouse - Although it sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, two-story outhouses truly exist, and for good reason. In areas of heavy snowfall it is not uncommon for a ground-level outhouse to be snowed shut or buried completely, and unless you are a talented tunneler or are in possession of a team of large and ambitious digging critters, a top story comes in quite handy.
